In the field, as well as our laboratory, Summit performs a wide range of Construction Materials Inspections and Tests, including concrete, steel, soil, masonry, fireproofing and more. Our technicians maintain various certifications through NICET, ACI, AASHTO, ASTM and NCDOT. Our laboratory is NCDOT certified to perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 soil test methods. Our laboratory, equipment, procedures, and personnel are inspected by various agencies of the National Institute of Standards and Technology including CCRL and AMRL. Our strict Quality Control / Quality Assurance programs are also assessed to ensure that all tests are performed in accordance with nationally recognized standards.
